What Role Do You Play As A Part Of Our Dance Sensations Team?
I do a bit of everything here at DS! I teach about 12 dance classes a week, which include both troupe and recreational dance classes as well as working on admin at the front desk.

When Did You Become A Dance Teacher And When Was Your First Dance Class?
I started dancing in 2004 in jazz tiny tots at Dance Sensations when I was just 2 years old. I’ve taken dance classes at DS ever since and it’s been so amazing to grow up surrounded by such a positive support system. I started teaching in about 2016 and now I teach recreational and troupe classes along with a soloist!

What Is Your Favourite Style Of Dance And Why?
I love all styles of dance for different reasons! When I feel like expressing my feelings I love lyrical or contemporary because its really freeing. I also love to take Jazz and Hip hop because they’re so much fun and I love vibing with my friends.

What Do You Love Most About Being A Dance Teacher?
I love making connections with kids throughout the year while seeing so much improvement and watching them become more confident. The staff I get to work with are so amazing and this job provides amazing opportunities that I would never get to experience if I wasn’t part of the DS team!

Besides Dance, What Are Some Of Your Interests And Hobbies
I’m in my first year of uni at the moment doing science education and I love learning in all areas of life. I also love the beach and travelling as well as the simple things like hanging out with friends and of course I love my crazy family!
